EUnomos redefining the concept of Rule Book to better suit the needs of railway undertakings, and in particular the personnel involved in safety activities.

EUnomos: A SINGLE RESPONSE TO MEET EVERYONE’S NEEDS

RULE BOOKS (RB)
FOR RAILWAY COMPANIES
  • are the most effective and efficient solution for railway companies to manage their own regulatory reference systems;
  • are the result of redefining the concept of Rule Book, which has allowed us to develop a product (in protected PDF version watermarked with the railway undertaking logo) better suited to the needs of railway undertakings, and particularly the personnel involved in safety activities;
  • guarantee regulatory reorganization following the criteria established by ANSFISA (ANSF Directive no 1/2012 – ANSF Decree no. 4/2012). It relies on an innovative documentary device that can be used via computer (tablet and laptop), outlined by role and operational context and drafted with a clear hierarchy of sources (distinction between principles, notions, and rules, the latter divided into normal situations and breakdown situations);
  • the architecture and software allow updates to be managed effectively, avoiding stratification, simplifying the compliance of railway undertakings, and facilitating the process of gaining and maintaining skills.
CONTINUOUS UPDATING
Continuous updating

  •          ANSFISA documents
  •          RFI Instructions/Provisions (Interface Procedure)
  •          Railway Company Instructions/Provisions
  • Reworking the operational regulations to respect the criteria of ‘regulatory reorganization’.
  • A single database containing all operational regulations for the system of reference, updated for the Italian Railway Traffic Regulation and constantly updated on the basis of European and national legislation, orders from ANSFISA, and regulations/provisions of the infrastructure manager and railway companies.
  • Web-based software developed in partnership with Binary System Srl to ensure, for each individual safety activity, completion of the Rule Books in the two volumes — Notions and Rules by carefully selecting from the database the individual regulations applicable to the railway undertaking in question, through the use of numerous drivers.
